Atletico Madrid stopper Jan Oblak has been linked with a move to French giants PSG according to reports from Spain. Oblak has developed into a top quality stopper and is considered by some as the best goalkeeper in the world.

The Slovakia international signed from Benfica some seasons back and has enjoyed a remarkable rise in his career. It could be said that playing in Simeone’s defensive system has helped the stopper to maintain his status as one of the best in the game.

Looking at how his predecessors fared after leaving Atletico Madrid, it bodes well for the Slovak if he makes the move. De Gea is regarded as one of the best in the game since making the move to Manchester United. Courtois another former Atletico stopper won the best goalkeeper award at the 2018 World Cup in Russia.

PSG are said to be ready to pay as much as £100 million for his services which would make him the most expensive goalkeeper in history. The French club signed Real Madrid ace KeylorNavas in the summer but want a younger stopper long-term.
His arrival in Paris could be the tonice that the club needs to make a deep challenge in the champions league. The Parisiens have disappointed in recent seasons exiting in the second round or quarter finals in recent seasons.

It is understood that Oblak is opened to making a move away from the club but still remins happy at Atletico.
Oblak has started the season brightly winning a couple of man of the match awards as Atletico has struggled defensively this season. His transfer will cause raves across Europe if it goes through and PSG fans will be hoping that it happens.
PSG have looked to change their transfer policies in recent seasons and this is a good move for the club.
